My son has taken a liking to getting up before the sun comes up, so I have been using that time to try out some new breakfast recipes.  Found this recipe and it was delicious! My kids had fun trying to name it something other than coffee cake. They were worried when I called it coffee cake that it had coffee in it! But after one bite, they ate and ate.  They said it should be called sweet buttery cake! Give it a try if you want a super special breakfast treat. I would dare say this cake was even better the next day too!
