Valentine Tic Tac Toe

I also wanted the kids to play tic tac toe at the Valentine Party…didn’t want to use printer ink to print a bunch of boards, so I made my own. Bought a pack of 36 foam shaped hearts from Micheals for $4!  Then I drew a tic tac toe board on each one. On party day the kids will play tic tac toe with M&Ms.  Super fun and easy!

*Didn’t have M&Ms so I snapped pictures using Altoids;)

Pin the Heart on the Bee Valentine Game

I am busy planning my sweet little girl’s class Valentine Party! Oh how I love being able to plan super fun parties! The teacher in me has so much fun and it’s the next best thing to actually being in the classroom again. So that brings me to this post:  I saw a cute game on Oriental Trading for 4.25  Super cute but super cheap….just a thin piece of paper. Do I really want to pay that much for a piece of paper? Nope, I decided to make my own. Grabbed a thick piece of foam board for $3 from Michaels and a pack of foam heart stickers for 1.50.  Spent about the same as I would have if I had ordered…only I didn’t have to pay shipping! PLUS it’s way more fun to make your own!

Valentine Cards

SO last year I found some cute ideas on Pinterest for the kids Valentine Cards. Since I wasn’t blogging then, I thought I would share the cards we made last year today. Not quite sure what I will make this year just yet but stay tuned as I am sure I will update this post!

Last year we melted crayons into a silicone heart shaped mold.  Katie loved giving her friends each a special crayon that she made herself!

And for Connor, we used glowsticks!
